Central Region Constituency Organizers

We, the 23 Constituency Organizers gathered here, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama for appointing Hon. Ekow Payin Aduamoah as the Central Region Minister.

Hon. Ekow Payin Aduamoah has served the party at various levels, including:

  1. Branch Executive
  2. Constituency Organizer
  3. Two-term MP for Gomoa East
  4. Current Central Region Vice Chairman

As field marshals, we feel both honored and humbled by the trust the President has shown in rewarding party executives for their dedication and service.

We have full confidence in Hon. Ekow Payin Aduamoah, a grassroots person, and believe he will work tirelessly to justify the trust placed in him by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the people of Central Region, and the NDC party.

Central Region needs unity at all levels, and we are confident that Hon. Ekow Payin has the skills and determination to bring the much-needed cohesion. The region is also lagging behind in infrastructure development, but we believe Hon. Ekow Payin will advocate strongly for our fair share of national resources.

Additionally, the youth in the region are in need of jobs, and we look forward to Hon. Ekow Payin revitalizing critical, job-creating projects, such as:

  1. The Sugar Factory in Komenda
  2. The operationalization of the Fisheries University at Anomabo
  3. The Fishing Processing Plant at Elmina, the second-largest in West Africa
  4. The Nursing and Teacher Training Colleges at Ajumako Biseasi

These are just a few examples of the projects that can drive economic growth and employment in the region.

We also wish to acknowledge the President’s selection of other appointees, including Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ph.D., as Finance Minister, Nana Ama Klutse as CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Felix Ofosu Kwakye as the acting Spokesperson for the President.

Moreover, we express our deep appreciation for the President’s decision to select Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang as his running mate, making her Ghana’s first female Vice President. The Central Region will forever be grateful for this historic appointment.

Once again, we say thank you to H.E. President John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity given to these sons and daughters of the region to serve in your administration. We commend all appointees and expect nothing less than hard work and dedication from each of you.

Finally, we extend our appreciation to the media for accepting to be here today.

Thank you.
