Donald Trump was sworn in for a second term as the 47th president of the United States during a ceremony in Washington, DC.

In his inaugural speech, Trump criticized his political opponents and vowed to “liberate” the country from what he described as a “radical and corrupt establishment.” He declared that the U.S. is facing a “crisis of trust” and promised a better future under his leadership.

“Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced,” Trump said, emphasizing his commitment to reversing what he called a “horrible betrayal” of the American people. He pledged to restore faith in the nation, rebuild its wealth, protect democracy, and safeguard freedom.

“From this moment on,” he added, “America’s decline is over.”

Trump also unveiled a series of executive orders he plans to enact immediately following his inauguration. These actions mark the first step in his vision for “the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense.”

With his second term now underway, Trump is positioning himself to tackle what he sees as the challenges facing the country, and he aims to implement his policies swiftly to deliver on his promises of reform and national renewal.
