Minister Pledged To Complete All The Abandoned And Uncompleted Projects Before Touching On New Projects

The Central Regional Minister has promised to complete all the uncompleted projects started in the NDC era and the uncompleted projects left by the just ended NPP administration before initiating new projects in the Central Region.

Addressing the Press, the Central Regional Minister Hon. Ekow Okyer Panyin Eduamoah hinted that he is optimistic to complete all the government abandoned and uncompleted projects before initiating new projects to reduce causing financial loss to the state.

According to the Regional Minister, there are numerous abandoned projects in the Central Region, and some were initiated by the NDC government over 10 years ago left in the bush rotten.

The just ended NPP government has also left numerous uncompleted projects and couldn’t complete them within eight years, so he is promising to complete them all before initiating new projects unless very crucial and urgently.

He said, and he also promised to complete all the abandoned projects from the same sources of funds.

The Central Regional Minister also stated that, He want to make Central Region the most infrastructural hub in all the sectors such as Education, Economics, Governance and many more.

Meanwhile, the School authorities of the Agona Swedru School of Business (SWESBU) in an interview with Pan African News, also urged the government to help complete all the abandoned and uncompleted projects in the Region.

According to the school authorities, there are numerous abandoned projects in the school. Some are over 15 years and are very disappointing, which needs to be completed.

The school authorities of the Agona Swedru School of Business are very disappointed in the previous government for abandoning all the projects in the school.

They appealed to President John Dramani Mahama’s government to as much as possible to come into their aid and complete all the abandoned and uncompleted projects in the school to safeguard teaching and learning.

Lastly, Mr. Theophilous Fuseni Maranga an old student and a lawyer who base at United States of America who with the Central Regional Minister cut sot for the construction of 200 capacity girls dormitory for the Agona Swedru School of Business also appealed to the old students Association and the government help solve the infrastructural problems in the school.

Mr.Maranga also stressed that it is his wish to make sure his alma matta is well served in terms of infrastructural projects.
