Kwadwo Nsafoa Poku Applauds Bawumia’s Display of Unity on Thank You Tour

In a significant display of unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), former presidential aspirant Kwadwo Nsafoa Poku has commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his inclusive approach during the national Thank You Tour. Dr. Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer, extended invitations to all former flagbearer aspirants, including Mr. Poku, to join him in expressing gratitude to party stakeholders and supporters across the country.

Mr. Poku expressed his appreciation during the Ahafo Region leg of the tour in Goaso on Monday. He described Dr. Bawumia’s gesture as a “unique and commendable act” that underscores the importance of unity within the party. “To invite all of us to join him for this Thank You Tour is a unique gesture from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and we all have to appreciate it,” Mr. Poku stated.

He further emphasized that Dr. Bawumia could have undertaken the tour independently but chose to include all former aspirants in the spirit of inclusivity. “Personally, I want to thank him for inviting me to join him to thank our party stakeholders across the country. He could have done this alone, but in the spirit of unity for the party, he decided to invite all of us,” Mr. Poku added.

Mr. Poku urged all NPP members to emulate Dr. Bawumia’s example of inclusive leadership. He called for unity at all levels of the party as it reorganizes following the 2024 elections. He also encouraged party faithful to uphold the spirit of sacrifice, stressing that such commitment would be vital for the NPP’s efforts to rebuild and return stronger for the 2028 elections.

Dr. Bawumia’s Thank You Tour, which commenced after the 2024 general elections, aims to express appreciation to party stakeholders and supporters across the country for their support during his presidential campaign.
