Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has announced a final dividend of GH¢1.67 per share for the 2024 financial year, following a strong year of performance. The declaration reinforces the bank’s commitment to delivering consistent value to its shareholders.
In an official notice issued by GCB Registrars on behalf of the bank, shareholders listed in the company’s register as of Friday, July 11, 2025, will be eligible to receive the dividend. To enable the payment process, the Register of Shareholders will be closed from Monday, July 14 to Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
The ex-dividend date—the cutoff for dividend entitlement—has been set for Wednesday, July 9, 2025. This means investors who purchase Standard Chartered shares on or after this date will not qualify for the dividend payout.
Dividend payments to eligible shareholders will be disbursed on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
The notice was signed by Michael K. Wereko of GCB Registrars and issued from the bank’s head office located at Thorpe Road/High Street, Accra.
