Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd has officially introduced a new logo, marking the completion of its transition under the broader corporate restructuring of the Guaranty Trust Group into a holding company structure—Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO). The change, which aligns GTBank Ghana with other subsidiaries in the group, comes with the approval of the Bank of Ghana.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the bank confirmed that although its visual identity has been updated to reflect its inclusion in the GTCO group, its legal name and operations in Ghana remain unchanged. “Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd will continue to operate as a fully licensed commercial bank under the supervision of the Bank of Ghana,” the statement said.

The new logo is now being rolled out across all customer touchpoints, including digital platforms, branch signage, marketing materials, email communications, and branded merchandise. Customers can expect to see the updated branding on the bank’s website, mobile and online banking portals, directional signs, and advertising infrastructure.

According to the bank, the rebranding will not impact existing account numbers, products, or services. All current operations and branch services will continue as normal. The move is designed to reinforce the group’s positioning under the theme “The Power of One,” signifying the shared strength and benefits of being part of a unified financial services group operating in ten African countries and the United Kingdom.

Managing Director of GTBank Ghana, Mr. Thomas Attah John, emphasized that the updated logo signifies a broader strategic vision. “This transition to the new GTCO logo highlights that the bank is now part of a diversified financial services group that extends beyond traditional banking,” he said.

He added that while the visual identity has changed, the bank remains committed to its core values of innovation, customer service excellence, and professionalism. “We are excited about the future and the expanded possibilities this new phase presents to our customers in Ghana and across the continent,” Mr. John noted.

The logo change in Ghana concludes a phased rebranding process across the operational areas of the Guaranty Trust Group. GTBank Ghana, known for its customer-centric services and leadership in digital banking innovation, continues to focus on building strong, long-term relationships with clients, staff, and local communities.

The rollout of the new branding will be implemented gradually across all platforms and locations to ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders.
