Mr. Bernard Kusi Poku, spokesperson for the Piase Youth, has issued a strong warning to the contractor handling the construction of the Piase Palace, Nurses Bungalow, and Community Centre projects. He called on the contractor to return to the site and finish the stalled projects, or face the consequences.

In a media briefing, Mr. Poku expressed the youth’s growing frustration over the delay and announced that they have given the contractor a two-week ultimatum to resume work. He made it clear that if the contractor does not return to the site within this timeframe, the Piase Youth will take action, including potentially terminating the contract and completing the projects themselves.

Mr. Poku also mentioned that talks with the Kuntenase Manhene (chief) are ongoing, but emphasized that the youth expect swift action. He stressed the importance of completing these key community projects and pointed out that the youth will not tolerate further inaction.

The Piase Youth are determined to ensure the projects are finished for the benefit of the local community, and are prepared to step in if necessary to ensure the work is completed.
