Music executive and manager Sammy Flex has revealed that negative online commentary may have cost dancehall star Shatta Wale a lucrative distribution agreement worth $2 million.

In a Facebook post on August 11, Sammy Flex expressed his frustration, indicating that recent digital reports and allegations have begun to impact the team’s business dealings.

“These online stories are starting to ruin things. The $2 million distribution deal for the Voice of the Crown EP has just fallen through, and it’s troubling. I’m seriously concerned, Chaley!” he posted.

Shatta Wale himself responded in the comments, acknowledging the setback and the pain it has caused, but urged everyone to remain hopeful.

“Say no more, Boss. We’re all hurting, but God is in control. Stay strong. #GODISHERE #VOTCEP will rise regardless of what man plans,” he wrote.

The situation follows recent controversy involving Shatta Wale and a luxury Lamborghini Urus that was seized by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). The vehicle was reportedly tied to a Ghanaian-American fraudster, Nana Kwabena Amuah, who has been convicted in the U.S. for his role in romance and business scams worth millions of dollars.

EOCO claims the Lamborghini, which was in Shatta Wale’s possession at the time, was allegedly acquired using illicit funds from Amuah’s fraudulent operations. The case has since drawn significant media attention and speculation, which Sammy Flex suggests may have spooked potential partners involved in the collapsed distribution deal.
