Table Tennis Association Appoints ITTF-Certified Competition Manager

William Berekorang Asare, Treasurer of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), has earned his certification as a regional competition manager from the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
Asare, a former table tennis player, successfully completed the ITTF’s competition management exam on Saturday, December 21, 2024. The exam was conducted by Mr. Omar Refaat Bassyouni from the ITTF Developmental Department.
His certification is a significant milestone in his journey with table tennis, where he has grown from player to administrator. Asare’s achievement is a testament to his dedication to the sport, and it further solidifies his role within the GTTA. Over the years, he has been an active member, working to promote and elevate the game of table tennis in Ghana. This new qualification aligns with his long-standing commitment to enhancing the sport’s standards in the country.
By earning the ITTF competition manager certification, Asare joins an elite group of professionals equipped with the expertise needed to manage international table tennis events. The certification underscores his knowledge and capabilities in overseeing competition management, a critical area for hosting successful international tournaments.
