Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has voiced his confidence in the Black Stars’ bid to secure a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana, four-time champions of Africa, strengthened their qualification campaign with consecutive victories in March, defeating Chad and Madagascar. These wins have placed the team at the top of Group I with 15 points, with four qualifying matches left to play.

Speaking to 3Sports, the Arsenal star expressed the team’s determination to return to the world stage for what would be their fifth World Cup appearance.

“As players, we’re eager to be part of the World Cup again. We experienced it last time and know how special it is. We’re focused on winning our remaining games to make that happen,” said the 31-year-old.

The Black Stars are scheduled to resume their qualification campaign in September, when they take on Chad and Mali on Matchdays 7 and 8.
