Wassa Hemanso Resident Launches Manhunt for Man Accused of Killing His Girlfriend

A man has allegedly killed his girlfriend at Wassa Hemanso in the Wassa East District.The man ,who is currently on the run is said to have killed his girlfriend Akua Daboa after accusing her of cheating. The suspect, identified as Oboy Siki allegedly committed the gruesome act over suspicion that Akua Daboa is going out with Kobby who is currently receiving medical treatment at Twifo Aatti Morkwa District hospital in Twifo Praso.

Nana Yaw Appiah, the Mmrantehene of Wassa Hemanso commenting on the matter claimed that the tension between the partners started on Sunday evening around 4pm. According to Nana Yaw Appiah,both Oboy Siki, Akua Daboa and Kobby was summon at Hemanso palace after Oboy Siki injured Kobby. Reports claimed, Nana Adutwi Abam ,the chief of Hemanso ordered the residents to handover the accused person to Daboase Police command.

Nana Adutwi Abam, the chief of Hemanso and also Nifahene for Twifo traditional Council is pleading with the Police Service to investigate how the accused person managed to escape from Wassa Atieku Police station and killed Akua Daboa at the dawn.
