Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko to Face Golden Kick and Eleven Wise in MTN FA Cup Round of 16

Accra Hearts of Oak, the record holders of the MTN FA Cup, have been drawn to face Golden Kick FC, a side from the Division One League, in the Round of 16 of the 2024/25 competition. Asante Kotoko, on the other hand, will go up against Sekondi Eleven Wise. The pairings for this stage were revealed on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, during the official draw.

Hearts of Oak advanced to the Round of 16 after a convincing 3-0 win over Home Stars in the Round of 32. Asante Kotoko, also progressing to this stage, narrowly defeated Division Two club Accler8z FC.

Former FA Cup champions FC Nania will face True Democracy in an all-Division One League matchup. Meanwhile, Bechem United, the 2016 MTN FA Cup winners, will travel to Techiman to play Liberty Youth.
