NDC promises to revive the Nyinahin bauxite industry

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Officer for the Atwima Mponua Constituency, Hajia Sakina Oforiwaa, has pledged that the party will prioritize the mining of bauxite in Nyinahin, located in the Ashanti Region. She presented a comprehensive plan to harness the area’s abundant bauxite reserves, with the goal of creating local jobs and contributing to national economic growth.

Hajia Oforiwaa criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for not fully exploiting this valuable resource during its eight years in power, highlighting a missed opportunity for the region and the country.

She urged residents to reconsider their support for the NDC, emphasizing that the party is committed to development and progress. In addition, she expressed her dedication to the development of the Atwima Mponua district, stating that, if appointed as District Chief Executive (DCE), she would work tirelessly to ensure the area thrives.
